One of several brookies caught on damsel fly nymph imitations at hike in Ann Lake in the Mt. Jefferson wilderness. Fished from the float tube casting to rising fish near the weed beds. Lots of midges but damsel fly nymphs were the fishes choice.
This is a photojournal of what I call "The Quest". The Quest is simple: to catch, photograph, and release unharmed as many fresh and saltwater fish species as I can in one year from Oregon bays, rivers, lakes and ocean. Use of fly gear when practicle but not required- any method will do.
