This is a photojournal of what I call "The Quest". The Quest is simple: to catch, photograph, and release unharmed as many fresh and saltwater fish species as I can in one year from Oregon bays,rivers,lakes and ocean. Use of fly gear when practicle but not required- any method will do.
Bait was boiling on the surface, I lowered a "binky" jig and came up with this guy. My first ever sardine on hook and line.
