Caught and released off Youngs Bay near Astoria, Oregon on a trolled spinner. He broke my pole in half on the take...I fought him with the butt stub of the rod and a light drag.
This is a photojournal of what I call "The Quest". The Quest is simple: to catch, photograph, and release unharmed as many fresh and saltwater fish species as I can in one year from Oregon bays,rivers,lakes and ocean. Use of fly gear when practicle but not required- any method will do.
